Yoga Sunset Routine

Sleep well with this yoga routine, designed to help you wind down for the day. It will loosen your body of any tensions built-up throughout the day, and help you to attain a deeper sleep.

The routine starts with upright poses, gradually bring you down into floor poses, finishing with savasana – just make sure you don’t end up sleeping all night on your yoga mat!

Here’s the sequence:

Mountain Pose
Standing Side Bend (both sides)
Walking Forward Fold
Downward Facing Dog
Low Lunge (both sides)
Cat Cow
Thread the Needle
Child’s Pose
Seated Forward Fold
Seated Wide Legged Forward Fold
Seated Wide Legged Side Bend
Lying Spinal Twists
Supine Butterfly
Savasana

We recommend holding each pose for 5 to 10 breathes, you can repeat the active poses 5 to 10 times on each side.
