Learn from an experienced tutor in a working clinic

The course is delivered by Vector Training, a CIMSPA Education Partner and FHT-accredited provider, inside the Optimal Movement clinic at Shrewsbury Business Park. You’ll train in a real treatment environment, with small group sizes that guarantee plenty of hands-on time and direct feedback throughout the day.

Vector’s own taping syllabus

Rather than teaching a single brand-led method, the course delivers Vector Training’s own taping syllabus – built around clinical reasoning and adaptable to the situations you’ll actually encounter with clients. You’ll leave able to choose the right application for the right presentation, not just follow a template.

Insurable on completion

Once qualified, the FHT accreditation enables you to obtain professional insurance to apply kinesiology taping in your own practice – meaning you can start using what you’ve learnt the following week.

Course Content
  • Principles of kinesiology taping and how it influences soft tissue and movement
  • Tape selection, preparation, and application technique
  • Muscle-facilitation and inhibition applications
  • Joint support and stability taping
  • Lymphatic and oedema applications
  • Posture and proprioceptive taping
  • Common upper and lower limb applications used in sports massage practice
  • Contraindications, skin considerations, and health and safety
Entry Requirements

Learners must hold a recognised Level 3 Sports Massage qualification (or equivalent), or be enrolled on a relevant therapy or rehabilitation degree programme. If you’re unsure whether your qualification meets the criteria, get in touch before booking.

Assessment

Practical assessment throughout the day, with a final demonstration of cupping techniques applied within a sports massage treatment. On successful completion, you’ll receive an FHT-accredited certificate.
